Originating from Southern Germany 40 years ago, this popular therapy is popular on the continent and consists of a range of unique exercises and techniques developed to gently help joints and vertebrae slip back into their natural positions WITHOUT clicking or crunching.

Dorn is more than just a therapy; by continuing the work of your Dorn Therapist with simple self help exercises carried out at home and following good posture advise. Dorn steps up to become a long term joint health maintenance and preventative system for people of all ages.

The Dorn therapy

is delivered in conjunction with the Breuss Massage a gentle and relaxing spinal massage. This massage both compliments the treatment by reinforcing the corrections and leaves you feeling beautifully relaxed and pampered.

Dorn theory states that imbalances within the body is the cause of numerous health problems. For example, the spinal column is made up of vertebrae cushioned against each other by soft discs. These vertebrae not only support our upper body, but are also responsible for their own particular functions and may cause health problems if out of place.

An imbalance in the hip caused for example by different leg he lengths, can cause the spinal column to sit twisted on an uneven foundation. In this situation forces acting on the body through normal daily routine (such as lifting heavy shopping bags) can pull vertebrae more easily out of place, and put an extra strain not he body muscles and joints. This can lead not only to back pain, but possible other problems elsewhere such as headaches, neck and shoulder pain. Dorn focuses on restoring the balance to the body to help avoid many common health problems.
